Outpost Video Services

In order to get the most from our social media services, we recommend hiring us to film and produce a short, inexpensive web commercial for your business.  Outpost is experienced and professional, but we're willing to work with your budget (and local!) because we believe in keeping up with the fast-paced world of social media marketing, and we want to be affordable.  Our current rate is:

Here are the steps that go into producing a standard 2-minute video (internet commericial) which highlights the best part of your service or business:
  1. Click the link below and schedule an appointment.  Let's get the conversation going about what you want people to know about your business, and we will meet you at your workplace or wherever you are the most comfortable.  We will script out a video which will be shot over the period of about 4 hours, and schedule a time to film it, usually within the same or the next week.

  2. Let's have a video shoot.  During or after business hours, depending on what has been decided in the first meeting, we will bring 2 1080p high-definition cameras, lighting equipment, lapel microphones, and a director to your place of business.  In 3 hours, we will have enough footage to get the video made to the specifications of our original arrangement.  Payment for the shoot is due at this time.

  3. We edit the footage, adding music and graphics.  What video is complete without background music, and graphics?  Graphics reinforce the messages being spoken on screen.  Music makes the video enjoyable for others to watch.  We record our own music at Fake Babies Studio in New Haven, CT so there is never any issue with copyright infringement.  Our professional award-winning film editor will make a product that people will want to watch, but more importantly, will share with others so that more people can find out about your business.
    The goal is to increase your client base, right?

  4. We share the video privately with you until you approve.  Before sharing your video with the rest of the world, we put it online and share the private link with you.  We require that you confirm that you approve of the work before we share it online.  Once you agree to share it, payment for the editing is due before we initialize "phase 5."

  5. We share it publicly using social media to get it out there.  It's not good enough just to make the video.  You need to share it with people who don't already know about you or your business.  The best way to do this is by having us use our social network, particularly Nhv.Org if your business is in New Haven, to make people aware of the presence of your new commercial video.  The goal is typically to have 100-300 people view the video within a 2 week period, hopefully many of them learning about your business for the first time, with a positive impression and a desire to utilize your services and recommend your business over your competitors.
