Projects

Outpost is assembling a resource of local actors and actresses for the purpose of producing compelling and inspiring films.  If you would like to be a part of this project, you can apply but it's advised to continue reading in order to fully understand what the project is about.

Typical Week Schedule.

During a week, there are two meetings when your presence is necessary.  There's an introductory brainstorming meeting, where we as a group discuss the hypothetical script, and address any potential technical challenges, scheduled during those appointments for a time slightly later in the week (though never on the same day).  You will have full access to the control of predetermining responses in given situations.  These situations are constructed in the framework of a larger context, determined by Outpost.

During the filming, it's expected that you will be on time, ready and wardrobed according to the plan.

Unexpected fits that contain abrasive language or uncontrolled volume in a public setting will not be welcomed with enthusiasm.  There's only so much attention we can draw to ourselves as part of an environment-inclusive experiment in film, where we don't have complete control over the surroundings in many cases.  Taking that into consideration will result in a smoother film-making process, but should not interfere with the quality of the picture.

Expectations should be met with a sobering amount of realism.  Because of the technical limitations, we may not be able to provide the scene that you want.  In order to work cooperatively, there needs to be acceptance for what the budget is able to provide.

In the event of the production of something that receives royalties

In the event that a production that we've all worked on actually becomes a success, participating actors will split the 33.4% of the acting budget for the pic.  33.3% goes towards equipment and investment.  The remaining 33.3% goes to the production team.

It's assumed though by all parties involved that there may not be royalties involved.  In the event that the filming is sponsored by the location, that amount of sponsorship is shared evenly.
